The Women Artists of the West is a unique organization of professional women artists who meet regularly to exhibit and promote fine art. Women Artists of the West has experienced much growth in its 31 years. This year of 2003 has brought five major fine art shows from Arizona and Wyoming to California, showcasing the artwork of many talented women artists.


Timberline Gallery is at the southern gateway to Yosemite National Park in Oakhurst, California. The art gallery features works by all the artists at left, who are residents of the Sierra mountain area, and includes paintings, sculpture and pottery works, in one of the largest collections of art in the mountain area.


The Califoria Carvers Guild (CCG) is a statewide organization of woodcarvers. It has approximately 1200 members and 51 active chapters, organized into a Southern District and a Northern District.


NWCA's aims are to promote woodcarving fellowship among its members; encourage exhibitions and area get-togethers; list tool and wood suppliers, and find markets for those who sell their work -- in short, anything that aids the carvers and/or whittler.
